I always heard his name growing up listing to Mac Dre n the rest of the bay area artist. Sorry for your loss. I was just curious to see who DJ Cee was and his impact on the bay area music in the 90s

I knew Cecil, as a young kid, way, way back before he became a DJ. He would hang out with my brother DJ Russ,(Russell Boyden), the original OG from the Crest in Vallejo, back in the 60's who mentored DJ Cee along with anybody else who was interested back in the day. DJ Russ is in LA handling his business, spinning, even to this day. Can't Stop, Won't Stop.
